According to The New York Times, "the novel "Pride and Prejudice", by Jane Austen was first published anonymously in London." We have this book, along with "Sense and Sensibility", in our library - check them out. http://10.1.4.167/researcher?details=9011
Sometimes I do not finish a book that I have started. "Faking Normal", by Courtney C. Stevens, is a very popular book, but it wasn't my cup of tea, so I traded it in.
"We Were Heroes", by Walter Dean Myers, was my next choice and I really liked it! While this book is fiction, there are things that are accurate about D-Day and the events following it during World War II. Reading this journal was a different way to learn about the horrific events that occurred in the battles during this important historical event. It's a short read and is very interesting. Check it out in our library - http://10.1.4.167/researcher?details=10000 So, don't be frustrated if you don't like the book you're reading. There's a book out there that you'll enjoy! This is the first time that I've tried the challenge so I want to make sure I can meet it with my busy schedule. So far, I've read 1 - "There Will Come a Time", by Carrie Arcos.
Are you up for the challenge? Look at your schedule, determine what is realistic for you and set a goal. I'd love to see your goal and your progress on my blog! Happy Reading! Did you know?
