Did you know that a Confederate POW camp was in Indianapolis during the Civil War? To learn more about Camp Morton, check out this book in our library - http://10.1.4.167/researcher?details=5654 "Unbroken : A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption", by Laura Hillenbrand4/8/2015 I just finished reading this true story. I found it to be so inspirational. I was horrified by the atrocities that our POW's endured in Japan. It was truly amazing how those that survived in this book, were able to finally touch the lives of others in such positive and optimistic ways. Check it out in our library - http://10.1.4.167/researcher?details=8873 If you would like to purchase books where the profits help a good cause, check out the Indy Reads Books store.
